About our Candles

Our candles are inspired by the beauty of Northern California, present and past, and evoke memories of travel, adventures and experiences in Mendocino County.

We hand-pour 100% domestic soy wax in small batches into hand-selected, locally-sourced, repurposed glassware and ceramics. We use only natural American softwood wicks that crackle like a romantic campfire. Each or our seven aromatic blends is crafted with the finest fragrance oils and capture the essence of seven of our most favorite locations.

Whether your favorite memory of Mendocino County is a foggy morning along the coast, a warm afternoon in an inland meadow, or a cool evening by the fire, we’re confident that one of our unique candles will evoke a cherished memory of your favorite travel destination.

Take home one of our candles to remember us here in Mendocino County. We hope our little labors of love bring light to your space and fond memories of your time here. We hope you're inspired to return soon.

Soon Available Online!

When we can, we'll offer our candles for purchase online. For now, you may find us at the Mendocino, Ft. Bragg and/or Ukiah Farmers Markets. Sign up for our newsletter to keep up with our progress, or send us an email: cuyler@inmendo.co.

candles that tell a story

Once loved and cherished by someone, but perhaps discarded and forgotten, we've given new life to exquisite glass and ceramic vessels we've hand-chosen at estate sales and resale shops in Mendocino County.

Testimonials

The Navarro candle takes me back to one of my favorite afternoons in Mendocino County, on a walk through a redwood forest. The scent lasts forever...just like my memories.

I love how your wooden wick crackles when it burns! It goes perfectly with the Anderson Valley scent, which it smells like fall to me. It's my favorite time of year.

David R.

I cherish the candle my husband bought me on our honeymoon in Mendocino. I love the Potter Valley scent and the little cream pitcher reminds me of summers at my grandmother's house.
